Here are the remaining tombstone inscriptions:
Peter K. Glimme, born at Voss Norway Dec 1, 1848, d.
Nov. 3, 1947 {should read 1907 -
comment by JS}
Madli Glimme b. May 22, 1858
d. Oct. 21, 1898
There is also a monument at Smokey Hollow that
has the name Alice L. Spilde.
Lower down on the monument, (it's a
pillar shaped monument standing over 4'
tall) is the inscription L.H.
& A. Spilde. I'm afraid the writing is so
eroded that I
couldn't make anything else out.

A paragraph form the Historical Album 1848 to 1973 Lodi WI. The article has a short paragraph on Hans Spilde.
Hans Spilde came in 1851 and lived with his wife and son for two years in a dug-out. Then they built a log cabin. They raised wheat but the first crop was of poor quality so they moved to the township of Lodi to a 120 acre farm that they purchased.
Images from the cemetery are on this page.
Thanks to Rick and Roseanne Mills of Lodi, WI for all their help with finding info and taking pictures!!!
