Oh what timing! The search is unavailable due to maintenance!!! Arrghh I did happen to find....
This site lists Hans Hanson Spilde m 1851 to Anna Vibaas in Woodstock, IL parents to Madli Spilde b. abt 1854 m 1885 in Lodi, Columbia Co, WI to Peter Glimme.
This very nearly proves my theory!! My great great great aunt Madli Hansd. Spilde Glimme's mother was from Vibaaslien. Her name is Anna, so maybe she had a daughter Anna?? I need to find more information!
It also shows an Anna Spilde married to a Amwnd (typo) Glimme in about 1871, but with little info.
